Progesterone supplement success?

Hi. I recently had my 2nd miscarriage and my Dr. said that he is going to supplement my next pregnancy with progesterone until 10 weeks? What does this do? Has this worked for you or someone you know? What are my chances of a successful pregnancy with this?

Yes, progesterone is a good thing! A normal woman's body will make a certain amount of it after ovulation until AF. It is actually called the hormone of pregnancy. You will want to get the cream and make sure that it is the kind that is natural and not chemically altered from wild yams. It can also help with cramps, poly-cystic ovaries and it cleared up my acne! After your pregnancy progresses, your body (mainly the placenta) will be making double, quadruple, triple and more of progesterone than you normally make.

That is the only way I can carry a pregnancy. If your body does not make enough progesterone on its on then you will not be able to carry a baby. You only need it through the first trimester! After4 miscarriages I used it and had my son!
