Does anyone know wot progesterone levels are suppose to be?

Hi what it is am on gonal-f injections and i just got my results of my day21 blood results they are to make sure i did ovulate and my levels was 75 but i don't know what that number is out of or wot level it has to be over to show a good ovulating the nurse just said that i ovulated and that was it i was just wondering if it was good or a ok ovulating. Thanx for any answers xx

My doctors office wants my progesterone level over 18 when on the treatment cycles. I have done 3 cycles using Gonal F. My level has always been over 40 which is considered great. There machine only registers to 40 and then just says over 40 if the level is greater. It means you definately ovulated and things sound really good for now. Remember though that progesterone levels are only an indication for ovulation and in no way predict a successful pregnancy cycle. Progesterone is the hormone level you make after ovulation and it helps to prepare the uterus in the event an egg is fertilized and implants so it helps to sustain a pregnancy. Your doctors office wants this to be as high as possible to give the best environment in the hopes that an embryo implants. Best wishes this month!!!

That is very high. You definitely ovulated. I think anything above 10 or so is considered positive for ovulation. When I got pregnant my progesterone 4 days after ovulation was 28.
