Short luteal phase and progesterone? |
I have a short luteal phase. My doctor suggested I try Clomid, but I am thinking about first trying Prometrium - a form of progesterone - to try to lengthen my luteal phase. Anyone have success with this? How long did it take? How much and what kind of progesterone did you take? Thanks Back-lit! Please let us know! I will tell your how it works out this weekend. I am on prometrium vaginally for 200mg. I insert it at night and wear a panty liner for the discharge. Its pretty easy the process. My doc recommended it b/c 4 dpo my levels were just below 10ml and he wanted to give me a boost just in case I am preggos. You need levels at 10ml to sustain a preg.
