Low progesterone? What to do?

Hey ladies! So I have been charting this cycle for the first time. I do have a kidney/bladder infection and am on antibiotics (today is day 2) However, on cycle day 20 my temperature was 97.7, and the following day it jumped to 98.3. HOWEVER, that night was the first night of my symptoms of UTI/bladder/kidney infection and I slept very little. My temperature was 98.1 on Cycle day 22 and 23, then this morning it was 98.0 (and I did sleep all night last night)
Can antibiotics lower a temperature? Is 98.0 too low, indicating my progesterone is too low? My average temperature for cycle days 1-20 was 97.6.
I'm new to charting, just wanted to see what's going on!
Thanks :)

It's a shame that this has happened your first month of charting, but I really don't think you can rely on your temps this month.
A kidney infection WILL cause a higher temp and going onto antibiotics WILL lower that temp! You circumstances this month mean that you can't deduce much from your temps I'm afraid hun.

I really don't think you should worry too much about low progesterone at this point. Your higher temps were most probably due to your infection and that infection may have delayed or prevented ovulation this month.

hey hun! u can actually go to the drs and have them check your actual progesterone level and see if you have ovulated yet or not. Its a blood test and they MAY do a sono! but if your progesterone level is low they can give you a medication call Provera to build up your progesterone level. GOOD LUCK HUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
