Should I stop progesterone cream if I'm pregnant? |
The doctor told me to stop my progesterone cream since I am pregnant. But she did not even know the stuff was available over the counter. What should I do? Every place online says not to since it helps to prevent a miscarriage. If your doc told you to stop, then I would stop. Even if it's OTC, it could be potentially harmful to your baby. I would definatly stop the cream. Progesterone is a hormone in pregancy and I wouldn't want to upset the balance by taking the chance that extra could enter your bloodstream. I wouldn't mess with anything not natural, from your own body... |
