What is the normal progesterone level? |
My progesterone level is 5 ng/ml,I have been trying to conceive for almost 2 years now,so is that normal and if not plz what are the reasons that causes it to decrease. i took my progesterone test the other day it was 22.3 and doc said it was normal and that i definately ovulated. progesterone doesnt help you get pregnant, it helps you keep a pregnancy or, start a period. If you have a progesterone deficincy, it would result in early miscarriage, not cause you to not get pregnant. Mine was 18.7 doc said"super duper". I think over 8-10 means ovulation and 10-12 to support a pregnancy. I am not your doctor but he may need to give you clomid or something to help you ovulate. 8-10 ng/ml is normal but it also depends on the day of your cycle. |
