I have Rheumatoid Arthritis about to start INFLIXMAB has anyone had good results? |
Just wondering if this treatment has been successful with other sufferers of this nasty desease.? My mother has been on Remicade (Inflixmab) for the past three years and credits it with her ability to function despite her progressed RA. (She says she would be bed-bound if not for it). That being said, however, I would question your doctor about trying less drastic drug therapies before starting Remicade as it has a LOT of serious side-effects and possible harmful effects when used long term! My wife has R.A. so Ive read up quite a lot on it.The drug you mention has a 70% success rate.Unfortunately,it did not work for my wife so she is now on another one.It didnt have any adverse side effects on her.Good luck.It is a horrible disease. |
