Is there anybody taking Anti-TFN Infliximab, treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis. ?

I am, and have caught a bad dose of flue.
As this treatment lowers my bodys immune system, should I see my specialist quickly ?

I read that a sore throat, headaches, and other general flue symptons, can be a side effect of taking this treatment and should be reported to your physician.

Koolio!! I'm on Infliximab for Juvenile Arthritis, and my immune system is realli low while I'm on it also. Sori,I don't mean to be rude, but, why would you want to see your specialist about it?? Again,I'm not being rude, but I was just wondering. Since you know the side-effects of the treatment, there should be no problemo!! Maybe go to your doctor and ask for something for the 'flu, and lay low for a while.
If you are still sick for your next treatment, tell your specialist, because they will not give you the treatment if you are in any way sick,as it will make you worse and it will take longer to get rid of it.
If you are realli concerned about this, you should go to your specialist!!
Best of luck with it!!
=D

Infliximab can lower the immune system. But lots of rest, and increase fluid intake can stop any flu. If you are worried, you can see your doctor.
