I am entitled to a disable badge as I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Rephrasing the question, I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis I am entitled to a disable badge?

I am in the US so I dont know where you are, but that is a UNIVERSAL SYMBOL and is recognized anywhere. and you are entitled be sure and take it when or if you travel!

Do you mean a Disabled Parking Permit?

You can get a parking permit if the Dr signs the Form. Simple as that!! NO one can ask what is wrong. If you are given a permit from your DR, you are entitled to park with the permit.

You can take that permit with you and use it in different vehicles too. It covers YOU as a handicapped driver.

AND phooey to the person that questions what is wrong if you are walking with or with out a cane. You DO NOT have to be in a wheelchair.
It's none of ANYBODY'S business.
I cannot begin to tell you how often people were complaining because I decided I was going to park in a handicapped spot WITH a permit.
I do not have to prove a thing, just that I am entitled!
For the most part, I wouldnt use the permit and i would park to the spot next to the last handicapped spot, but when I couldnt handle it, I parked there.

My mother has rheumatoid arthritis, a herniated disc, fibromyalsia (or however you spell it), and something else I think. She has a disabled badge.

The doctor told her that it depends on the severity of the arthritis, but since it's mixed with other things, she got a disabled badge.

If you have just that, then I would say that it depends on the severity of your arthritis. I would ask your doctor first and get his/her opinion.

You will have to apply at the town hall for the badge but you will only get it if you have been certified disabled through the proper channels. You are also entitled to a violation ,as this is not a question is it,you have made a statement, not asked something.Click edit and change the format before someone or yahoo flags you off.

Not specifically because you have rheumatoid, or any other condition for that matter. It depends on your degree of disability.

Will access an application.

Simple answer is NO, not unless you are in a wheelchair and going by your previous questions, I doubt you will be able to get one. I have RA, was in a wheelchair for three months last year and they refused to give me a Parking Permit. Best of Luck

Have a look here, you may find the answer here.
