Does the weather in Hawaii help Rheumatoid Arthritis? |
I'm moving there in December and would like to know if my R.A. will be better there? Moving to Wheeler Army Airfield so I think that's inland Depends on which island you're moving to. Oahu is far more humid than Maui or the Big Island. I live in Hawaii and the only times my arthritis acts up is just before a big rainstorm, which sadly, happens less and less frequently - we've been in drought conditions for quite a few years now. I know a guy who moved to the warm, humid side of one of the islands and has experienced relief. I don't know if it would work for you, or other people, but its helped him. Does your RA feel better when it is warm and humid? If so then yes if nott then no. |
