Does rheumatoid arthritis cause tight back and neck muscles? |
Does rheumatoid arthritis cause tight back and neck muscles? Rheumatoid Arthritis causes me pain in all parts of my body. Neck, back, legs, arms, jaw, etc. I have Pre Lupus along with it AND Scoliosis. I got a triple whammy from Mother Nature as far as the skeletal disorders go. Remember, its an autoimmune disorder so it attacks other things also. I also have Sjogren's which attacks my tear and salivary glands. I cannot wear contact lenses. Yes, and preventative maintenance is a good idea, i.e. massage treatments and moist heat. My mom has had RA for several years and I work on her for pain reduction. Try some gentle pain free stretching and keep warm. |
