Rheumatoid Arthritis? |
I'm sixteen, female, and have never in my life felt any sort of pain I would ever relate to arthritis. When I was around six I developed 'lumps' on my foot and had recently had them surgically removed. Apparently they are rheumatoid nodules, although I'm completely confused about how this is even plausible. Most things I have read state that usually in the first few months most people are crippled, yet I have never felt joint pain in my life. Is there any possibility that I couldn't have rheumatoid arthritis? And this was some sort of oddity? My surgon seemed baffled by arthritis, and was little if any help. Running warm water over your joints ... methotrexate is a pretty potent drug that is used to treat certain types of cancers as well as RA. it can cause a whole load of side effects, including blood and bone marrow problems, fever... There are no cure..as u know, it is your immune system gone haywire and start attacking ur own cells ( particularly joints). It is a systemic disease but most common the symptoms are in join... And the question is?... Sorry, it's not curable. But, with the right meds. it is manageable. Talk to your doctor.... |
