Go to the arthritis site, they have live chats and a forum with people from all over with every form of arthritis. They are a great bunch. Hope this helps.
There is no cure for RA .. the goal of treatment is to delay the progress of the disease and to treat the symptoms, try to avoid weights in u r affected joints , try to carry obejcts or moving your bigger joints while moving for example move u r elbow joints instead of u r wrist joints , try to warm your joints to decrease u r stifness but be aware doing that in chronic stage , when u r inflammation is acute because it may incease the inflammation , use adaptive devices as energy conservative method to decrease the load on u r affected joints.
your sayin that NOTHING at all works for you? thats odd.
Are you sure that you've tried every medication? Do you even know all of the groups of meds that are or can be used for RA or other inflammatory types of arthritis? What part(s) of your body is/are affected by your RA?

I'd ask for a referral to another theumy, one who deals with RA and other inflammatory types of arthritis. This is something a bit different from non-inflammatory types of arthritis and requires different types of management tools.

Further, if your RA is affecting any part of your spinal column, then anything less than a biologic won't help. That's per my rheumy, whom I am seeing about PA, which is an RA-negative inflammatory arthritis.
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis for 6 1/2 years now and I do understand how you feel. And of course they don't have any cure for that. Well finally after seeing some different types Rheumatologist they finally give me the proper medication, which is helping alot. What I do is almost every day I d this treatment call Wax treatment, for hand, elbows, and feet, and I can say I recommend you that. And if during a day it's painful take a warm bath for about 10 to 15 min, and try to relax (lay down) for 15 min. Good luck.
