Is it possible to be hypocondriac thinking you have schizophrenia on some level.?

Can you be hypocondriac thinking you have seriouse mental iklnes like scjizophrenia.... Lets say I think that. From reading all about schizophrenia i got scared that i have it the think about split personality. I dont see things and dont hear things but you can still have chizophrenia without having these symptoms. My psychiatrist says he is sure I dont have it but i still think the opposite. Next sesion he said he will explain exactley what is shizophrenia and why i dont have it but i am scared that that will make me worry even more. I have bad anxiety and that could be why i am like ehar dont kno. I know that people at work act wired and i heard once a conversation about someone saying i hate people that dont know who they are i am sure that they were talking about me. Any help please.

Some of the best advise I've ever got was from on off-duty, slightly drunk psychologist;

"Basically, the goal is to spend almost all your time thinking about the world. Everything happening around you. The people with 'issues' insist on thinking about themselves. Their brain, their past, their ticks and querks. If you just focus on the outside world, most your problems will take care of themselves."

Is it possible your a schitzo? Yes. If you are what should you do? Try to forget about it and just live your life.

Is it possible nothing is wrong with you, and the problem is all in your head? Yes. If so what should you do? Try to forget about it and just live your life.

What is more difficult; Living the rest of your life like you do now, or forcing yourself to change the way you think? I'm guessing both would be a challenge, but one has to be easier than the other. Either way, answering that question for yourself will change your life for the better.
