What do people with schizophrenia see and hear? |
Just wondering. They mostly have acoustic hallucinations, so they hear voices. Typically the voices are talking about them in a negative way. They surprise you everyday. They may see snakes on the wall. They may think someone is always following them. They may think the CIA has implanted devices in their ears telling them to do things. There are drugs out there to control this dellusional behavior however, these drugs have horrible side effects for the schizophrenic patient and alot of times they choose not to take it. Remember, schizophrenia is not a disease someone is born with. Something happens in a persons life (not yet determined) and then it is acquired. I have a friend who hears voices in the walls. I met some one she heard demons for 15 years. |
