Prone to Schizophrenia because of OCD ? |
hey, I have already been in treatment. Intensive CBT for 7 weeks. 3 Hrs. daily. I have been told that I have OCD and GAD, a mix of both. Technically, I dont have any schizophrenia but recent drug use (THC) has made me believe that I might no. ocd is ocd. all the things that your are paranoid about and the things that you feel guilt over; that's all a form of ocd. it's called scrupolosity. you need to give yourself a break. you're going to treatment and that's really good. it's not that crazy to think that companies are corrupt and to be scared of google. who hear about things like that all the time. as for the guilt and moral stuff: if you do something wrong, try to make it right, ask forgiveness, forgive yourself, try not to do it again, and move on. no guilt is necessary and not even god would put it on you. so if god wouldn't why should you. hang in there and keep going to therapy and don't worry about the schizophrenia thing, that's just your ocd lying to you again. god bless. The use of tetrahydracanabinal(sic) is not good for anything, other than treatment of certain eye disorders. Every time your system ingests THC,millions of brain cells are destroyed. Plus it tends to gather for long extended times in the center of your brain, triggering a drop in motivation on your part U seem 2 have a psychiatric problem which can not & should not b solved on the internet. Pl see ur psychiatrist & do as he says. No but it makes you worry more and believe you may have other illnessess I don't think there is any disorder that makes one prone to developing schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is not a single disease but a spectrum of disorders. The public misinformation and misunderstanding of these disorders is abysmal Google it for more info on symptoms and treatment. |
