Schizophrenia Symtopms?

When i was a yound kid, about 10 years old, me and me class would go into the assembely hall every morning like most schools go. And i would sometimes be at the front row, the kids behind me would sometimes laugh and i would look round and see what they where laughing at. But i couldnt catch on what was so funny, it got to the stage that i thought that they could see into the back of my head and see my thoughts, just like thought broadcasting. At the age of 14.

I was kind of paronoid, i thought that people where looking at me and laughing at me and now when i look back on this all im really really really starting to worry that i might be on the blink of becomeing schizophrenic, i have no family history of schizophrenia apart from my cosion but he had it in his mothers famliy whitch is no relastion to us. I have ADHD and OCD and i tend to worry all the time. Iv had this worry for 7 months now and im just looking for little things to keep this worry going! Im in fear at the moment!!!!

I watched a video on Youtube a few weeks ago. I found that some Schizophrenics live the way I used to dream. I used to have dreams filled with nothing but people staring at me. I also had/have ADD (not ADHD). I used to see shadows in my room and even once saw a winged creature in my room.
After awhile I decided I wasn't going to let this crap bother me. I diligently studied religion (because I believed and still do that my house was being disturbed by evil spirits). I also began to focus on the good things in my life and on constructive things. Creating crafts or studying topics of interest helped me keep my mind at ease. Over the years I have learned that many people find they have a problem when someone (especially a doctor or teacher) tells them they have a problem. We shouldn't fall back on what people say, but instead push forward towards the goal of improvement. I graduated from High School and College and my ADD and wierd childhood wasn't brought up or considered a factor.

So what's my point? Stop thinking about your problem. Don't jump to the conclusion that you have a disorder. Instead give yourself reality checks. No one is staring into your brain. If it was possible for us to stare into people's brains you'd hear about it all the time on TV and in science journals. ADHD is how your brain has gotten used to not having to concentrate on boring or tedious tasks. You're just going to have to rewire your own brain, and drugs don't help. Drugs just make you think you are doing fine.

i have a 12 yr old son--who started out this way at age 10;, then proceeded to get worse. i have a family history of schitzophrenia---but, you dont have to have a family history of it. my son is now 12, and he stopped being paranoid;after he started taking prozac, abilify, and clonodine. he was diagnosed with OCD and adhd. you probably have the same--dopamane issue;, too little or too much. sometimes the little transmitters in our brain go haywire. if this continues;, go see a psychiatrist. hope this helps.

most people have their first scz break at the ages of ninteen to early twentys. children are rarely diagnosed with this. this is more a learned behavior from the teasing. but if you are concerned, do get an evaluation. look it up on the internet,
