Schizophrenia? I think I may have it?

I have all of these symptoms:
*lack of emotion - the inability to enjoy regular activities (visiting with friends, etc.) as much as before
*Low energy - the person tends to sit around and sleep much more than normal
*lack of interest in life, low motivation
*Affective flattening - a blank, blunted facial expression or less lively facial movements, flat voice (lack of normal intonations and variance) or physical movements.
*Alogia (difficulty or inability to speak)
*Inappropriate social skills or lack of interest or ability to socialize with other people
*Inability to make friends or keep friends, or not caring to have friends
*Social isolation - person spends most of the day alone or only with close family

but NO delusions, NO hallucinations and NO voices (only thought voices..does that count..?)

Sounds more like you're depressed to me.
However I don't understand the voices you speak of. If you notice that voices are in your head (like you're imagining them, yet they're seperate from you), then you might have a problem. However, the more you believe you're schizo, the better the chances that you will be schizo.
You should talk to someone about how you're feeling. A counselor, minister, teacher, friend, and a professional would be good choices. No Schizophrenic was ever cured by meds, just controlled. Same with depression, you have to open yourself up to someone close to you and get at the heart of why you feel the way you do. Best wishes to you on this trial in your life.

Schizophrenia is a label that encompasses all types of psychosis except that of Manic Depression. I have Schizophrenia. You do not. At least at this time. The best thing that you can do is to eat nutritionally balanced food and get sufficient physical activity. If you find yourself sleeping less and less and in a state of hyper awareness, then you might see a doctor. If you wait until you hallucinate or become psychotic you will likely avoid medical help.
This other emotional business or lack of it. I wouldn't make too much out of it at this time. I suspect that you are not eating properly. Prolonged bad nutrition can cause a mess of mental problems.

I know what you mean by "thought voices".
Also I know a lot about psychology... I am bipolar and my mom is a paranoid schizophrenic. I can normally spot schizophrenia rather fast.
In order to be diagnosed as schizo you MUST have some types of hallucinations or delusions. It sounds much more like a depression kinda thing. Which I am also familiar with.
Feel free to message me if you would like to talk more.

McLuhan's work in the media indicates that books, television and radio are such important facets of our lives that they can actually change the mental health of the person depending on what works a person is exposed

The example I most readily think of is the Bible. Many Schizophrenics that i've treated use the Bible as a very person, totally consuming work of their own lives. I see no reason why a similarly mentally ill person couldn't use any other literary work.

i have a Friend with schizophrenia and it took doctors years to diagnose her they all thought she was just severely depressed so it may take you a while to get the right diagnoses , and be care full it took 18 months for them to get her medication right for her . she is now so over weight and sleeps so much because of the meds , so i really hope its not that for you . but p.s she is other wise great now ...........

I think if you have concerns about mental health you should ask a Doctor.
Teenagers often have questions about their moods and it's nothing more than hormones, boredom, stress etc.
It's a worry if you are seriously expecting an accurate answer from the internet?
Self diagnosis is not a good idea either.

Please see your doctor. They have certain important questions to ask about yourself and your family history. Also may do blood testing.

ask family members and close friends whether they notice that you have sudden changes in behaviour. if you really are unsure, meet a psychiatrist

hallucinations will just pop up within the next minutes. so don't worry.
