What happens if you take Risperdal if you dont have schizophrenia or anything..? |
It's not me, its just like in my family, my aunt has so many pills, i dont know where she gets them but they are not prescribed to her, well right now she is in some psych ward lol and they wont let her out.. but anywayss, all her pill bottles and stuff are at my house, so she doesnt get them when she goes home .. (all emptyy.. so like dont get any ideads that im gonna take them, 'cuz i'm not lol) but i was listening to my mom talk to my grandma on the phone, and all i hears them saying was ''she took vicodin and risperdal ! blah blah) i know what vikes do.. but not risperdal lol .. I dont know if i left this out.. but yeah she takes them for recreational use.. or whatever.. like she doesnt need them. so i'm just wondering what they do. lol They should have virtually no discernible effect on a non-psychotic person. There is no "high" associated with Risperdal. The only possible effect would be based on side effects of the medication (e.g., it might make you a bit sleepy, but probably not). M doesn't know what she's talking about. Risperdal is a very powerful drug, and can potentially cause serious side-effects. Also, if it's taken for a long enough period of time, then it's possible that significant changes in brain chemistry could occur, some of which may linger for a very long time. It's a common misunderstanding that just because you don't suffer from mental illness that psychiatric drugs will have no effect on you. Risperdal is an Anti Psychotic. If taken in large doses, I guess it would knock her out. I have no idea if it could kill her. |
