I know this guy with Schizophrenia and he tells that he's in love with me....? |
Can i REALLY believe that? I've known him for over 3 years, we've been together before but that was almost 2 years ago and he STILL says he loves me, even though we stopped talking and even though he knows i have a very serious boyfriend. I know how disturbed he is so i can't tell if he really does love me or WHAT...the point is can i actually trust that he loves me? I have known him for 3 years and only this last year that i've known him has he been on meds and gone to therapy and stuff like that. ALL 3 years he has said he loves me. People with schizophrenia can be in love too, just like anyone else. He might have an inaccurate view of how much you love him. (So can anyone in love though, but his condition might not help.) If you need to correct his view be gentle with him. He might, but then again, it sort of depends on what type of schizophrenia he has (some are more prone to mood disorders, which may effect his ability to understand that love). Is he medicated? If not, you should try to convince him to get meds and take them - that should also help calm some of his "disturbed" behaviors. yes but just 2 make sure askhim some questions about ur life |
