Noone will answer me!Could i have schizophrenia?please help me?

i hear voices/ other people taking over my mind and i often lose myself, then again have trouble finding who i am myself. i tend to drift into my own world, and stare into space, and cant function properly. this can happen any time, like at work, and ill forget whats happening or what im doing. or suddenly adopt a different perspective of how i see the world, causing my mannersims, personas to change. sometimes i will be crying or laughing then suddenly stop, or i cant express the way i feel. i feel like i have different beliefs/views or people hidden in my mind. recently i am finding very hard to commuicate and people are thinking im strange, and cant get to know me. sometimes i laugh when im sad, or cry when im happy. i feel like i spend most of my time becoming lost in my own thoughts, and doing unessessary things.i also experience strange ways of seeing the world, which often apear a frightening experience.or see things how i did when i was a child or even like ive fast forwarded

you've listed symptoms of mulitple possible diagnoses including bipolar, ADHD, and schziophrenia. it has obviously interfered with your personal life, time to seek a professional opinion. if you have insurance, check the back of the card for the # for the mental health division and call them. ask them for providers (psychiatrists) in your area that take your insurance. if you don't have insurance, check your phone book for local mental health community programs. or just ask your primary care doctor for some names. but don't wait any longer. medications these days are so advanced and can really make you feel better. good luck.

I think it's pretty clear that you probably have schizophrenia. Some of this stuff happens to me often, but your situation seems a lot more serious than mine. The people here aren't professionals. Instead of asking for help here, go talk to your psychiatrist. While it often seems they can't help you, hey really do. And you also have to try to get better; if you don't put in any effort, you'll never win.

I hope you get better soon.

The reason people haven't replied is because very few of them have any knowledge in the medical field. I would suggest that you make an appointment with a local psychologist. It'll help to talk about your issues. If needed your therapist will direct you to a psychiatrist who will be able to help you on a clinical level. You are NOT crazy. I suffer from manic depression and obsessive compulsive disorder. Some of us are simply wired to function differently. It is NOT impossible to return to a balanced state. I've balanced out quite well over the months. Good luck!

You did real well explaining how you feel........what you need "to do" is explain it to someone who can help you........

Make a call to a local hospital and ask them to recommend a doctor in your area. Make an appointment with a doctor so that the doctor can answer your questions.

We can read your posts on Yahoo but we can't help you. You can keep us posted, we do care that you find the help you need.

Good Luck To You

suggest that since this appears to be interfering with your activities of daily living, it is time to seek professional help. see a psychiatrist.

you could be experiencing dissociation or you could be realizing that you are psychic, what you are describing is sounding like empathy, which is picking up othe peoples essence

Could be multiple personalities, schizo, ADHD... theres probably more than 1 thing wrong.

Yes, I think you do, and since no one on here can really help you, its time to see a counselor/therapist. Trust me they help!

I recently found info on schizophrenia at the following website:
http://risperdal.com

yes hunny you do. go see someone about it.

My dear Camilla...
Well, honey ...you should most definately make an appointment with a psychiatrist - soon - because you really must get some help immediately ! There is NOone here to give you a certain diagnosis, yet alone a "correct" one, so please do see a professional. Do NOT continue like this, because it must interfere with your "daily living" quite a bit !!! It's nothing "weird" about consulting a psychiatrist, sweety. I've been to one myself & assure you : it doesn't..."hurt" !!!

I know, you CAN be helped, because there are proper medications these days which will make your life a LOT easier !!! So, please do see a competent psychiatrist soon !!!

Wish you all the best for the future ! Greetings from Germany...Annette***

This can be many things. The best thing to do is to talk to your physician about and the most important thing is to calm down. Many times when people think that they have a pyschological disorder it cause them to go into a panic or anxiety attack. Schizophrenia is very managable.
Really just talk to you physcian about it and they should be able to fill you in and refer you to someone that will be more knowledgeable on the subject.
