Schizophrenia? or not? what is it?

What is this? help please?
i feel kinda like nothing is real, but i dont notice it unless i think about it. if i think about it, i find myself saying there is no way that anything in my life could be real. and if i dont think about it, i kinda feel like im working automatically.

also, sometimes i lose track of a sentence im in the middle of saying, and my mind goes blank. and it takes me like 15 seconds to remember. sometimes when someone is talking to me i miss half of what they said because i was staring at something blankly. so i miss like half of some conversations, and when i go 'wait, what?' i feel kinda bad.

today, my mom picked me up from swim practice, and i was kinda in a trance from swimming and swimming, but when i got out of the water i felt all weird. like i was kinda confused and when i got in the car it still hadnt gone away. i could faintly remember getting out of the pool, putting on my shoes, and walking out, but somehow, it felt like i had passed out sometime in between. i was a little bit shakey and disoriented, and it didnt go away until halfway through the ride home. and im still having trouble remembering getting the car. it doesnt feel like it happened AT ALL.

what is this?

What you are describing does not sound like a schizophrenic experience but a type of disassociation. Some people tend to confuse Schizophrenia with Disassociated Identity disorder (Multiple personalities.) They are not the same. Not even in the same ballpark.
Talk to your folks about what you have been experiencing. You could have been disassociating on some level or another, or you could be suffering some medical ailment, such as mild epilepsy or diabetes.

Not Schizophrenia.MY sis is and shes not like that.
Something is wrong for sure, please tell mom so she can take you to a doc.It does sound like some kind of seizures.....Please tell Mom about it asap.....

First be very careful of the advice you're given here particularly if no source is given. You must talk to your mom and get medical advice. As far as schizophrenia is concerned stop worrying, you're not schizophrenic. Schizophrenia is a mental illness, there are many symptoms but most schizophrenics don't have all of them. A few examples of symptoms are hallucinations (where you see things that are not there), hearing things that are not there, going into a state where you can stay for hours (sometimes days) without moving a muscle or communicating, this is called being in a 'catatonic' state and delusions of grandeur where you believe you're the president of the USA or someone else importan and some schizophrenics believe they're the new Messiah or God.

You don't describe anything like this, what you do describe sounds like it might be a mild form of epilepsy known as 'absences'. However, it could be any number of things, epilepsy being only one of them, that's why you need to see a doctor as soon as possible. A simple test will tell if it is epilepsy. Many people are scared of epilepsy but don't be scared. The majority of people living with epilepsy have their epilepsy controlled by medication and live full and normal lives.

Speak to your mom and see a doctor that's the only way your mind will be put at rest.
