What do you think schizophrenia is? |
I have had a person close to me that had it. When I say had it, that person has passed away. What do you think it is? They talk to people that no one else can see. They really believe they are seeing these people. Do you think it is demons bothering them or maybe a chemical problem in the brain? I have had a first hand account of this, my Grandma has it. Very very sad. She has done and said some crazy things (sometimes it can be funny) over the years, last year she even burnt down her house. Luckily, she wasn't hurt. She is fine when you get her to take her medicine, but then she goes through spells where she won't take it. I don't know if it's demons or just chemical problems, but I do pray that whatever the reason God will heal her. It is so horrible to see people suffer. True schizophrenia has something to do with the brain problem, but, depending on your religion, one might be misdiagnosed. I, for one, can see and talk to dead people (people who no one else can see, who are actually there). I thought there was something wrong with me, but technically there's not. Like I said though, this all depends on what you believe in, your religion and so on. Not everything you don't understand is demonic/evil. It is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental disorder characterized by abnormalities in the perception or expression of reality. It most commonly manifests as auditory hallucinations, paranoid or bizarre delusions, or disorganized speech and thinking with significant social or occupational dysfunction. its a chemical imbalance in the brain that triggers delusions. it is a man made disease Schizophrenia? It's a chemical problem in the brain. It's severe enough that over even just five years with the disorder, the shape of the brain changes markedly (I forget exactly how, I think some of the gaps in it get larger). Sad stuff. It's a mental disorder where there is an electrical cross current or electrical disconnect of some sort. It's still being researched, but can be at least partly controlled with medication. I can't imagine how awful it must be to experience. I work in a psych ward. Its a mental disorder - usually chemical. Neurological damage to the brain caused by diseases or genetics over time. I can see why people in the past believed in demons since there weren't any scientific explanations at that time. Its been pretty well demonstrated to be a chemical imbalance in the brain that responds to medication. yes, its demons. your all-loving god allows demons to come after them because they made him angry. so to counteract the demon, they must take medicine. funny how meds work against satan. It is a form of mental disease where an individual has two distinct personalities. Chemical problem with the brain. chemical disbalance Definitely DEMON POSSESSION!!! the wikipedia article on it is quite helpful the voices in my head are telling me its crazy I think it's a mental disoerder, and so do I. |
