Mild Schizophrenia? Apparently. I don't think so.?

Alright, so apparently my problems are all in my head. I can't touch things, like paper and clothing and fabric because it makes me cringe, like fingernails on a chalk board. There aren't exactly "voices" in my head....it's not like there's more than one telling me what to do. I argue with myself, but doesn't everyone do that? Like the angel on the right shoulder the devil on the left? Although sometimes I do surprise myself with witty comebacks to myself...and I think answers that I hadn't thought of until I started arguing with myself. But it works, it helps me make decisions. Isn't this normal? I don't hear voices, they're me, they're myself.
Although there is a history of mental problems in my mom's side of the family...I don't know. Am I mentally ill?

I can't eat with regular utensils, I can only eat with plastic because it makes me cringe. I have a few other"odd" things like that, but anyway. I know what you mean by arguing with your self, and most people do, so I don't think you have much to worry about, my problem is my inner voice isn't my biggest fan, so I have a lot of...should I say conflict, Any way according to "the man" I have Bipolar Disorder & Borderline Personality Disorder features but I haven't taken any meds or anything in awhile...I'm okay I mean I know I'm not "normal" but it doesn't bother me to much if your really worried see a doctor

maybe not. i give myself pep talk all the time,and talk to myself to make a decision. i think if you actually hear voices or see things,that could be schizophreniza. if you feel sad and unhappy a lot,that could be depression. if you are worried,see a counsler who can diagnose you with an illness or tell you that your fine.with a history in the family,there could be an illness,but see a counsler to be sure.
