Would this be considered in a schizophrenia diagnosis? |
If someone showed all signs of schizophrenia, except that the only hallucinations they had were hypnagogic hallucinations (hallucinatons you only get when you are falling asleep and are not really hallucinations, but dreams) , would the hypnagogic hallucinations be considered in the diagnosis of schizophrenia? No, hypnagogic hallucinations are not the result of a psychotic process, and would NOT be considered in rendering a diagnosis of schizophrenia. "all signs of schizophrenia" |
