Would this be considered in a schizophrenia diagnosis?

If someone showed all signs of schizophrenia, except that the only hallucinations they had were hypnagogic hallucinations (hallucinatons you only get when you are falling asleep and are not really hallucinations, but dreams) , would the hypnagogic hallucinations be considered in the diagnosis of schizophrenia?

No, hypnagogic hallucinations are not the result of a psychotic process, and would NOT be considered in rendering a diagnosis of schizophrenia.

"all signs of schizophrenia"
Very vague.

There are different types of schizophrenia, some not having any hallucinations at all.

Schizophrenia is categorized by many things, icluding Delusions, Hallucinations, Disorganized speech, Decline in emotional responses, motivation, or speech, as well as the increased inability to function normally enough to take care of self, work, or home.

If 2 or more of the above are being met, than a diagnosis of schizophrenia may be acceptable.

The hypnagogic hallucinations would not even be considered, as they affect a large portion of the population - however, the other signs would be red flags to watch.
