Do patients with schizophrenia or neurasthenia know that their like mental?generally people wit mental illness |
I need to find out like, if Mao himself knew that he was mentally ill, since he has some symptoms of schizophrenia, and his personal doctor said he had neurasthenia. if anyone knows anything about symptoms- paranoia, insommia, anxiety, depression, etc- before or during the Great Leap Forward, please tell me! thank you. Some people function well, some do not. The mental illnesses overlie a base personality, so some people can have negative behaviors towards others, while others become martyrs (donate a kidney to a stranger, for example). Dunno about your specific topic, i just want you to know that there is no "generally" about "mental illnesses"-they are extremely varied, mental illness is a catchall term for any brain disorder whatsoever.
