Most people with schizophrenia are very quiet? and keep to themselves? is this true?

Hello...I got this disease when I was 14....and I am very quiet.

I'm schizoaffective and very quiet. Always have been and always will be. Natural born listener with very little reason to share my experiences with people who are judgmental and have little to no experiences that correlate to my own.

But I type like mad online!

no that is not true for everyone that has it
Yes it is to a certain point.
I suffer from schizophrenia myself and I am very much independent and quiet. im also bi-polar so im not exactly sure where it comes from but my guess is the schizophrenia.
Not necessarily. There are several different types of behaviors that schizophrenics engage in. Some are catatonic, delusional, etc. Don't just ask people online - if you are serious and were diagnosed it is in your best interest to gather all the information you can. Also seeing a psychiatrist might be a good idea, depending on the severity of your diagnosis. Schizophrenia is one of the most unexplainable disorders and behavior is variable.
Both quiet and spiritual... quiet because I'm spiritual, spiritual because I'm quiet.
