How magic can treat schizophrenia?

I have seen so many schizophrenics and their families try everything to help fix them, tarot readings, astrological beliefs, religion after religion, even magic. Yet I have never seen Magic nor any of these things treat or cure schizophrenia, sometimes the hope of a religion gets people through and in one case I have seen a prayer make it go away but never magic. That's not to say it's not possible, I am sure many things are possible but the only thing I have seen with a sure result in the majority of schizophrenia is consistent medication but the medication has to be the right type for the person (which can sometimes be a battle) whether they like taking the medication or not it is the only thing that can help them sadly :( let's hope someone finds a cure soon.
