Which one is deadlier schizophrenia or biploar?

I have had schizophrenia since age 14

Neither are "deadly" pathophysiologically, however, the impact that these conditions can have on your quality of life could act to shorten your lifespan. First off, I know how tough the disorders can be, I have a family member w/ schizophrenia who proves that living a good and normal life is possible, but you have to be VERY strong to deal w/ the daily struggles you have to face. The key to making it through schizophrenia is finding the most effective medication and sticking to it. This might take some time, and some times the side effects aren't so fun. Also, one of the clinically designated symptoms of this disorder is ambivalence--therefore, often the person will take the med sometimes and for some reason they decide to stop (oftentimes they can't even answer why-not their fault, it is just the nature of the illness). So, yes you can live w/ the illness, but you must take your meds, and keep your stress as low as possible. If you start feeling too stressed, take some time off--it is imperative to prevent a breakdown, which can become dangerous b/c of how your actions may be during that time. Bipolar is deadly only b/c in times of depression people have turned to suicide, and during the manic times they engage in high-risk behaviors.
Basically-neither are fun to have, but we all have our "crosses" to bear. Just be aware of yourself, keep stress low, and keep on meds. and there is a good chance you can lead a relatively normal life. I wish you well, and remember--be good to yourself!
They can be equeally deadly if people do not take their medication. Bipolars can become psychotic just as schizophrenics . In a depressed state some bipolars become suicidal.
With the correct meds, niether is deadly.
Neither is fun but both can be treated.

The outlook for people with schizophrenia has improved over the last 30 years or so. Although there still is no cure, effective treatments have been developed, and many people with schizophrenia improve enough to lead independent, satisfying lives.

I would say bipolar is deadlier. I am not sure what the suicide rate is for schizophrenia, but it is 1/5 for bipolar.

How ever a manic individual is much more likely to be killed by the police.
they are not deadly.
