Do I have Insidious Schizophrenia?

I was Diagnosed Bi Polar a few years ago when I was hospitalized. lately I have been having Auditory and Mild Visual Hallucinations. I heard someone say my name out loud at Wal Mart the other day and no one was there. I also have a wave effct going on, like at times everything seems as if its underwater. My father has Schizophrenia as well. Also I hear Music and sounds differently at times like its a damaged cassette tape and the sounds sometimes are sped up and other times dragged out. Thanks for any help you can give me!

The mind is a very advanced mechanism. In my opinion, accept the fact that you might be going crazy and you won't. It's only when you think you're normal -- when you think you're perfectly fine and everyone else is crazy -- that you really run into trouble.
I think it's kind'a cool, actually. Cherish your (mild) schizophrenia. Every curse is a gift. :)
talking with someone who's brother was schizophrenic
"A person experiencing schizophrenia is typically characterized as demonstrating disorganized thinking, and as experiencing delusions or auditory hallucinations. Diagnosis is based on the self-reported experiences of the patient, in combination with secondary signs observed by a psychiatrist, clinical psychologist or other competent clinician.... No objective biological test for schizophrenia exists, though studies suggest that genetics, neurobiology and social environment are important contributing factors."

However, to appear so late in life, without having undergone any trauma, it is likely also that medication for Bipolar disorder can also be the cause, due to side effects. If in doubt, it would be a good idea to see a clinical psychiatrist.
Wikipedia,
You really need to talk to your parents and if they think you have Schizophrenia, you should to the doctor. I think lately you have been feeling neglected, acadmeic gardes slipping, or whatever talk to someone to amke you feel happier. You cant be angry all the time. I watched a video of Schizophrenia and these Dutch kids I felt really sorry. I really want to say good luck and I hope you dont have Schizophrenia, because you wnat to have a good life and its your only life too.
It sounds like you're very worried about being diagnosed with Schizophrenia! I can imagine that its very scary to wonder whats going on with you. Whatever it is, you need to go and speak with a therapist who can help you work through your symptoms. The upside is that you have an awareness that something isn't right. It sounds like you have enough incite to get the help you need and to head off your symptoms before they overwhelm you.
