yes you can have delusions without hallucinations
there are different classifications of schizophrenia
simple
hebephrenic
catatonic
paranoid
schizo-affective
childhood type
undifferentiated type-such as manic depressive

hallucinations are not just visual, but also auditory as well. Hallucinations can effect your train of thought as well, anything that's envolved with communication whether it's by sight or by sound or both.
