Since I have schizoaffective disorder and schizophrenia, is SSDI and SSI coming forever?


why are they still paying me if i function like a normal person?

if you can hold a steady job and make enough $$$ to pay your BASIC bills (rent/mortgage, utilities, food) then you may be able to discontinue your SSI, otherwise, you may need to continue it.
if you are on medication, if you discontinue your medication then it is most likely your schizophrenia will come back. The medication does allow you to live a normal life and that is great. I wouldn't complain if they are still paying you. Glad to hear everything is going well for you. Not the case for my brother.
if you have a job you need to report it but other thna that I have the same condition and as long as i take my prescription im ok but what do you consider normal get an outsiders opinion someone you know ask them what they think of your most recent behavior sometimes people with mental illness cant see their own symptoms but all people are that way I have come to learn the signs when something is going to change but it took me awhile If you dont want to continue getting social security tell them im sure they will be glad to keep the money as for my self I am going to continue getting benefits as long as I can I have to many bills to pay to just let go i recently started a new job But i was told that I can make a certain amount of money b4 social security even changes so im happy with that But personally I believe I function quite well I have my moments as Im sure if you have the above ailments so do you and I found people tend to Judge me by my sickness quite frequently It really sucks but what can I do I am mentally ill and will be for the rest of my life so i try to just push on being what I feel is normal for me but that definition is given loosely cause everyone is very different

imagine this.. if you were born in the year 9000 you would have a machine or a robot that knows all the answers and u woulnd't need to ask questions anymore!
