1.is there any cure for schizophrenia?


What to do if the patient is on the stage that she is getting rid of all your housewares by disarranging and throwing them saying that she is just doing housekeeping? that she only stop on doing those when she's asleep.

there is no cure BUT...you can absolutely keep it controlled by therapy and medications. I have a friend who has been diagnosed with this terrible disease and because of the meds, you would NEVER know...just like you and me! No cure YET...but some great meds that can really stabalize. Get her to a doctor right away..it may take a little time to get the meds just right. Hugs to you.

As for the other question regarding cure for schizophrenia, there is no permanent cure. It can be controled with drugs like Risperdal, and a minimum of monthly doctor visit would be required to lead a normal life.
No, there is no cure. It is a genetic disease. You are born with it. But you can go on medication to control it. Try that.
