Do you think I have paranoid schizophrenia? |
About september last year, I was very stressed because of poor time management. I will smoke and sometimes drink too when just to ease down. I would have extreme paranoia at times on the bus. Any mean looking person I would be expecting an attack. I am basically ready to take them down. These usually happens when Im depressed but it also happens when Im feeling good. I was thinking I have bipolar. I stopped drinking and smoking in February 2007 and on april I hear whispers that I couldnt understand. I also heard screaming occassionally and I heard crying once. Of course I dont find the source because I was scared. In addition a voice of woman shouted at me wake up! one morning. Oh yea, my thought was awake but my body was paralyzed once before I get up on march. Someone keep whispering the word "Satan" to me while I was paralyzed. I also realized that I might be schizophrenic when for some weird reason I felt like I can jump down 30 ft high Ugh... I think you best see a doctor.... Don't try diagnosing yourself or getting a diagnosis from Yahoo. If you are serious about this, get yourself in to see a doctor, they can help you with these problems, they are better equipped to answer your questions, Yahoo Answers is not. Good luck to you sweetie! Please don't self-diagnose. Your symptoms sound serious. You better get professional help right away. I will not even venture to suggest anything for you as I am not an expert. Sounds like you suffer from social phobia, bipolar, depression, multipersonality disorder & paranoid schizophrenia. Could be a combination of one or all of the above. Possibly something different. In either case you have a mental illness & in order to get better you need to be treated my some mental health professionals. None of us with mental probs like to admit it & I know it sounds bad saying we are mentally ill, however the truth is just that, and in order to get better we have to seek treatment from mental health professionals, who are specifically trained in mental illnesses & treatment of such problems. Remember mental illnesses don't mean we're different than anyone else, it just means the chemical make-up of our brain is different than someone who does not suffer from mental illness, and other than seek treatment there isn't nothing we can do about it. Yes, paranoid schizophrenia sounds like a distinct possibility. Your best bet is to schedule a thorough evaluation with a psychiatrist as soon as possible. You can find relief from some of these symptoms, but proper medication management will be absolutely essential. Best of luck, ~M~ p.s. The description of the visual and auditory hallucinations (and the sleep paralysis) just before waking/falling asleep may not be pathological. Many persons experience hypnagogic and hypnapompic experiences similar to those you describe. The other symptoms you describe, however, lead me to believe that your hypothesis (i.e., paranoid schizophrenia) may be right on the button. occupational hazard ok.... go and get seriously checked out... Those voices could be it...Or maybe you really PARTIED hardy with some E or something and could have really damaged you! We cant help you here you need to help you and take control of this before something really F Up happens...GO TODAY! |
