Can anyone distinguish between Positive & Negative schizophrenia symptoms, response 2 treatment & course of?

See the National Institute of Mental Health website (think it's nimh.gov) or the National Association for the Mentally Ill website (www.nami.org) - positive symptoms include, for example, hearing voices; negative symptoms which I think are more common include being extremely withdrawn, avolition (no will), alogia (very little speech)...
Positive are the hallucinations and the delusions

Negative are the symptoms that resemble depression/bipolar such as feeling down, worthless, withdrawn from people and activities you once found joy in.

Response to treatment varies with each person, as everyone's body is different.
This is very good blog, a beginner鈥檚 guide to abnormal psychology.
Short, clear and simple; and you can even post your question
