Hello just wondering does anyone have schizophrenia too or know where to get schizophrenic support groups?

hello i was diagnosed with schizophrenia two years ago and was wondering if anyone knows of a support group site or has it themselves thanks!!

NAMI.org has forums on-line. Though the one for schizophrenics doesn't seem very active. I write on the bipolar forum, there is lots of activity there.

NAMI.org can also direct you to your local affiliate and they may have a support group.

Also check out NMHA for their local affiliates. The affiliate in FL where I grew up knew everything about what was going on in the area.

my dad has it, my grandmother suggested i read books by Dr. ?Torrey. i have, and it has helped me understand this disease that robbed me of my dad. he is an expert on it, very informative, and easy to read. ( sorry i cant remember his first name)

Hi ! I don`t have it, but I do have stress-related disorders. With the help of a friend, we have found the coolest on-line support group for all different types of mental disorders.I`ts called "Healthy Place".I`m hoping you will give it a try, anyway.There are people just like us with problems just like us..and they all post problems,they all never judge,and you can post anything you want to know or need help with, there will always be somebody there that can identify with you.That`s what`s so great about it.
