schizophrenic since age 14. Surviving Schizophrenia: A Manual for Families, Patients, and Providers by E Fuller Torrey is so amazing and comprehensive. It has all sorts of information and statistics. Source(s): I have read it through and referred to it many times. My father is schizophrenic Hold on, I'll ask myself and see if I know. This is a very good blog, a beginner鈥檚 guide to abnormal psychology. Short, clear and simple; and you can even post your question and contact the author regarding particular subject you are interested in, for FREE http://sensitive-psychoworld.blogspot.co... As someone mentioned "Surviving Schizophrenia" by Torrey. It's very informative and is written for the lay person. It's a very good read for anyone with schizophrenia and people close to them to better understand the illness. Also by Torrey: "Schizophrenia and Manic Depressive Disorder". It's based on the results of twin studies that Torrey and others conducted. It's more technical and concentrates more on possible causes of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. |
