What has been done to promote awareness of schizophrenia in society? Nothing because the disorder is very rare. That's the same reason that depressed fish don't receive much attention. Nothing. You don't hear much about this illness. Wait a minute. Are you talking about me? What have you heard? Schizophrenics have been voted into public office, thus giving them and their symptoms a higher profile in the mass consciousness. as far as I know...only Seroquel (think that's how ya spell it)....another defective pharmacudical !!! 800 mg's a day I used to dish out. Plenty. If you Google "schizophrenia," you get more than 25 MILLION hits. If schizophrenia doesn't affect me, I have no need to have my awareness raised. I suffer from depression, that's all I care about. Sorry to all the people who suffer from schizophrenia, but that's just the way it is. AS far as I'm concerned, it's not all about YOU - it's all about ME. Love, Jack. |
