How many do you know committed suicide who had schizophrenia? zero Hmmm... I don't know.... just count them.. and multiply by 2? I only know one who has attempted it several times. My Uncle. I had an aquaintance that doused himself with petrol and lit himself, I've known schizophrenics who've slit their wrists, od'd, but none of em succeeded, because the chances are they were crys for help (apart from the guy who burnt himself). I dont know why they dont just shout "help". Sorry. who knows the number? I think it's not important. but when you come across with it in life -it's really awful. My friend, with whom we studied at the university did it after a hard treatment in hospital and since that time I feel terrible that I couldn't help her to survive. |
