How old was your father at the time of your birth if you have schizophrenia?
My father was 32 at the time of my birth. I was 28 when the symptoms first appeared and have had it for over 40 years. I do not call it schizophrenia any more but DDD (Dopamine Dysfunctional Disorder) which is what a group of psychiatrists have proposed calling the condition if you have hallucinations and delusions. The label schizophrenia is scientifically meaningless. The symptoms have been controlled (virtually eliminated) by medications (or therapy or old age). |
