What're the chances Jesus had schizophrenia? |
I mean come on, do you start worshiping those homeless people who say their the son of an omnipresent deity? I saw one on my way to work this morning and he sounded just like Jesus. Talking 'bout seeing angels, hearing god, ect. Schizophrenia is characterized by profound disruption in cognition and emotion, affecting the most fundamental human attributes: language, thought, perception, affect, and sense of self. The array of symptoms, while wide ranging, frequently includes psychotic manifestations, such as hearing internal voices or experiencing other sensations not connected to an obvious source (hallucinations) and assigning unusual significance or meaning to normal events or holding fixed false personal beliefs (delusions). No single symptom is definitive for diagnosis; rather, the diagnosis encompasses a pattern of signs and symptoms, in conjunction with impaired occupational or social functioning. The chances that Jesus had Schizophrenia are pretty high. Source(s): Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders less than a 0% chance - how dare you! I think the chances are very high, but not as high as his followers. I have heared that jesus probably didn't say he was the son of god, and mary wasn't a virgin. he may have existed and said some smart things about peace and love. What he said has just been twisted and abused There is a good chance that Jesus was a mentally disturbed person. His eccentric behavior attracted many people to him. This happens in many primitive societies where mentally disturbed people often become the shamans and spiritual healers. I don't think Jesus was schizophrenic, but John who wrote revelations was certainly crazy. |
