Which type of sexual dysfunction (sexual desire, sexual arousal, or orgasmic) would be the most difficult for?

Which type of sexual dysfunction (sexual desire, sexual arousal, or orgasmic) would be the most difficult for a couple to handle?

I personally think sex/love addiction is the worst -- at least when only one of the partners has it. Like to junkies can share needles and follow their habit together into oblivion, so can sex addicts.

But the problem arises when one of the two is not afflicted. Then, after the first blush of excitement wears off, the normal partner begins to realize that all his partner's abundant appetites really have nothing to do with being in a partnership. The addict wants to "get mine", no matter how the other feels about it. There's other things that naturally follow -- cheating, surreptitious masturbation, blame, denial, the whole spectrum of addictive behavior.

As you can guess, I've been through this, and recently. I PLEADED with my partner to just pay some attention to me in bed. But despite all the promises -- once the pants were off, all bets were off, too. You've seen alcoholics grab a tumbler of whiskey and down it in one gulp? Or that guy on the Tanqueray commercial inhaling shrimp at the buffet? Imagine seeing that look on the face of your partner in bed, and add the fact that in her hurry to "get down to business" she invariably neglects to brush her teeth and reeks of garlic and stale cigarettes. Next day you get a truckload of guilt thrown at you for not "loving" her, and maybe even a visit to the therapist where she explains all how "sex is a normal part of every normal relationship". Ooof.

Welcome -- surprised you voted for it, but I told what happened to me, that's all. Report It

inability to orgasam?
inability to get it hard?

I dunno if I understood the question

Without desire, you can't really have any of those other things eh?

depends what u mean! difficult to perform? difficult for each other to accept?

probably nercofelia thats not spelled right im sure.

lack of desire would be the most difficult. As long as you have the desire you will have a chance to work out the other problems

probably desire I think...once you get into it, it's easy to have an orgasm.

I think that if one of the couple had problems with sexual desire, then that would be the most difficult strain on a relationship.

I'd say sexual desire. If I was married I would want my partner and myself to have sexual desire.

Inability to orgasm would be very frustrating.

If there were lack of desire, you wouldn't miss it (just your partner would).

desire

Your question is such a generalisation which makes me think that you are just getting off on the answers!
