Teenager with sexual dysfunction due to antidepressants?

Im 17 and I've started celexa within the last month. Recently i have been unable to reach ejactulation. I'm not really sure what i should do i would feel uncomfortable talking to my parents about it. Any advice would be helpful.

Yes that is a typical side effect of that particular medication. Nearly all of the antidepressant medications have some sexual side effect. The side effects are not permanent though, once you discontinue the use of the medication everything will return to normal. If this is something you don't feel you can tolerate, you have to have a discussion with your psychologist about either decreasing the doses of the medicine, or changing the medicine completely.
yeah, that can be a side effect. Talk with a pharmacist and/or your doctor ( a pharmacist is a doctor specifically for drugs afterall). And don't be afraid to talk to these people about anything (if you can get some privacy) They will understand that it is a delicate matter. And believe me - they have heard everything - and a lot of it is much worse.
Since getting over this depressions is obviously more important than reaching orgasm. I'd say just hold off one sex/masturbation until you are stable enough to stop taking celexa.
