Sexual dysfunction ..............? |
Ok, ppl im looking for some advice. Ive been having issues in the bedroom, we usually have no problem but for some reaon the last 5 times ive been unable to reach my peak of pleasure. I looked into why and i found out that the medication i was taken had a lowered libido side effect (zoloft ), althought i quit taking Zoloft 3 days ago and it says it only take 26 hrs to exit your system. Im being to get a little concerened on why im unable to climax.... Any help is appriecaited..... THANKS IN ADVANCE..... Also do you think if i change positions that maybe that will help?We always do missionary, never done anything else. The most part of reaching orgasm is mental. Do you have a lot on your mind or are you stressed? It all affects your orgasm. You need to be relaxed and be into the moment. Just focus on the sex and your partner. You might want to try new positions it is always fun to try new things. Have fun and have some adventure. Life is too short just enjoy it. ask a doc and ask your husband for whatever you want if he won't, he shouldn't expect you to either opinion Changing the position might be nice. Sometimes a little variety is something that can spruce things up. If you make lovemaking routine then it can be quite boring and that may not help your libido either. Try doing things a little different. That may work. Don't worry about it though or the stress will be enough to prevent the orgasm too. It's not the end of the world. It will return. Good luck to you. First off the zoloft did not cause you to not climax. Zoloft can decrease your libido but that means you don't want sex as often not that you don't orgasm. If you were taking the zoloft for medical reasons you need to get back on it or call your doc to let him know that you have stopped taking it. Are you able orgasm yet when you masturbate? If you can't then you have a MEDICAL problem maybe but if you can orgasm on your own then it is just a fluke that you are not orgasming with intercourse. You need to consider yourself lucky that you can orgasm with intercourse and many many many women never orgasm with intercourse. Yes try new postitions and try fun things like some toys or body paints. Spice your sex life up a bit. In the meantime find out what still makes you orgasm when you are alone so you can show or tell your partner this and either restart the zoloft or at least let your doc know that you have stopped taking it. You should not be adjusting your meds without your docs ok first. It may say it takes 26 hours to exit your system but the things it's effecting take longer to subside. The worst thing you can do it so worry about it. Just the pressure of trying to achieve it is likely to cause problems. Just give it time (maybe a month). There are a few herbs that can boost vitality and increase sexual desire for both men and women. These herbs are all good for health as well. 1.
