Anxiolytic is a term referring to a medication (drug) induced state of sexual dysfunction. Depending on whether it is a male or female patient, the sexual dysfunction could range from inability to achieve or maintain an erection, to the female not being able to lubricate. The type of medication being taken would lean towards different dysfunctions in males and females. So, the patient would have to decide, is the medication worth giving up the sex life for, or check with their doctor to see if their may be another medication without this side effect.
