Has any one out there seen a doctor for psychological sexual dysfunction? |
If so, did it work for you? Also, I'm uninsured, how much does therapy like this cost? It saved my life. I too was uninsured. It cost me about 200 a session in the NYC area. I wish you the best. I'm sure youll get better!!!! Find someone with a sliding scale. You will pay based on your ability to do so. Make sure the therapist had experience in this field. He/she will probably encourage sensate focus - cuddling but no sex - for a period of time. I wish you well! A friend did it and definitely improved. You can also find a lot of information in books, and it's worth trying that first, but probably a therapist will help more. And you can pay based on your income, and you might also find low-cost therapy if you live near a school that teaches social workers.
