Any homely remedy for sinusitis? Avoid decongestants, they really gum things up. Saline rinses through the nose (best done in the shower... always makes me gag, but works well) either with a netti pot or Simply Saline(or Just Saline...can't remember the name exactly, but tastes the least bad), then I super heat the sinuses by taking a hot bath and tipping my head back in the water until only my nose sticks out. I'm a swimmer, so non-swimmers have a hard time with that step. You can try hot, moist towels on the face. Don't forget to drink lots of fluid too. Steam.... go buy a nettie(nettle/) pot and rinse out your sinuses with salt water Breathing is less of a chore when air can flow freely through your nasal passages.
