Sinusitis surgery for deviated septum? |
I'm going to have surgery for a deviated septum to help with Chronic Sinsusitis. I had a CT on my sinsuses which my doctor confirmed I had Chronic Sinsusitis. My question is when everything is said and done, after I've healed from the surgery which I know can takes weeks, months, etc. will I be able to get a good nights rest? The thing that gets me with Chronic Sinusitis isn't so much the congestion and all that, it's the lack of sleep I feel I've gotten for so long. The lack of quality sleep. I'm so tired, I'm delusional. You should be able to get a really good night's sleep a couple of days after they remove the nasal packing-the pain medications will help and they may even add some humidified oxygen to help guard against painful drying of the nasal passages. Yes, you will get a good night's sleep soon after the operation, and well after that. |
