Do I have Sinusitis? If so, how can I get rid of it?

So this weekend I felt like I got a cold but with no symptoms at all. So I went to the beach on saturday and on sunday morning I wake up with this pressure feeling by both sides of my nose (right and left) by the cheekbone. I was at my uncle's house and shes dentist so I ask her and she said it was sinusitis.

But I continue with my breakfast and leave her house, and go back to my place and after a couple of hours the pain just concentrate in one side of my face (right cheekbone below my eye and include toothache) so I took a couple of tylenol to calm the pain. All day I keep discharging a yellow color mucus and sometimes in the night I felt some nasal congestions

Today I wake up well but after a couple of hours in my work, I got this toothache again, almost no discharges, and a little congestion, but the toothache is killing me.

A friend recommend me nasal saline but I'm not sure if this will free me from this toothache.

Any recommendation?

Take your thumbs and place them directly on the area of the cheeks that are giving you trouble and press very firmly. If you have pain you have sinusitis. Repeat this process on the portion of your forehead just above the middle of your eyebrows, if it hurts, again you have sinusitis. I would however, trust the judgment of a licensed medical professional. Dentists have patients come into their office with complaints of toothaches every day only to find out, you guessed it that its sinusitis. You mentioned that you have been having yellow discharge this is a sign of infection. Make an appointment with your doctor as you will need an antibiotic to clear this condition up, sooner rather then later. If you delay it will get further entrenched and need stronger antibiotic to root it out.

It definitely sounds like sinusitis, but I don't know about the tooth ache that has nothing to do with your sinuses. If you go to a doctor they will prescribe you a antibiotic and a nasal spray, and the pain and discharge should be gone in a week or so. But in the mean time putting a hot washcloth on your face helps, breathing the hot air in the shower, and use a humidifier where you sleep.

Go to the doctor, you can get meds for sinus infections that will clear it up quickly. I have to get them alot @_@ I have terrible sinuses.

I don't think its Sinusitis, it's usually quite a bit more painful then just a tad bit of sinus pressure and a toothache.

Either way, you should go to the doctor, yellow phlegm is usually a sign of infection, it's suppose to be clear. You'll get some medicines that will work fairly quickly and start clearing it all up.
