I was watching Foyle's War last night and his son said that sinusitis affects your eye sight. Is this true? |
I am suffering badly at the moment with my sinus. I am in real pain even though I've been prescribed anitbiotics. I have always had excellent eye sight until the last 6 - 8 months and am now wondering if this is to do with my condition? It's unlikely it will affect your vision. The only thing that might be on foyles war is that in the 1940's there were limioted treatments available and with the pain involved with a good going sinusitis the headaches etc can affect the ability to concentrate. Imagine what it's like flying with sinusitis on holiday then think would you really want an RAF pilot flying at speed with bombs with that pain... Goodness knowns what would happen.. It can do, as your eustacian tubes are what also get blocked with sinus, and your sinuses are just under your eyes. With all these blocked up your eyesight could definitely be affected. As the "stuff" would exert a pressure on the sufferer's eyes. Yes! It can affect your eyesight. See your eye doctor |
